Welcome to a place similar to paradise. Islands Fine Burgers and Drinks gives a restaurateur the experience of being on their own island in paradise. This restaurant gives one the perspective that they are with the birds of paradise, and are enjoying a meal right next to them all at once. With the combination of the great customer service from the waiters, the feel of paradise, and the extravagant food, Islands is sure to make you feel in your own paradise. 

 

When you walk right through the front door of this tiki-style restaurant, you are sure to feel at home with a nice greeting from the array of staff. When you walk through the door, despite a line, the hostess is always friendly and honest. With a restaurant, you expect great service from a popular restaurant and “despite the line, my girlfriend and I got a table within 5 minutes, just as the entering hostess had said” (Russell, consumer blog). When entering the restaurant, there is always someone to greet you with a smile, and you will always receive fast and efficient service. After being seated in a timely manner, then you get to meet with your server. They always greet you as well with a smile and tell you their name so you are able to connect with them personally. The servers are usually fast and attentive to their customers, who attest that “Our server here was fantastic and within 3 minutes of emptying our drinks she attended us with refills” (Russell).  While eating, your server comes by often and makes sure things are good, also, (based off of my experience) sometimes other servers who do not even wait on you check to see how you are doing. Maybe once in a while, a manager might stop by here and there as well because they actually care about their customers. Then when leaving, they always make “sure to leave us with a ‘Have a good night!’ and a cheery smile on her face” (Russell). This place is great for a family dinner, with the great customer service provided by its employees.

 

With the outside atmosphere, looking into the tiki-style building, a customer can already tell that they will be in paradise. With a dimly lit atmosphere, a customer can sense the warm sunset right as they walk in to this “tropical theme with a fun, relaxed atmosphere” (Debbie and Nate-Consumer reviews). From any seat in the restaurant, there are many flat screen televisions in full view. Many people like to watch sport games while waiting for their food, so they have “TV screens with extreme footage-surfing, mountain biking, snow boarding” (Islands Restaurant). Also, for all sport fans, if a sporting event is on, then half the televisions support that event. The aromas of the restaurant let its customers salivate while they wait for their food.  The restaurant is usually “clean, including the bathrooms” (Debbie and Nate-Consumer reviews). The clean restaurant gives its customers the feeling of serenity and calmness while eating and having fun at the same time. The décor around the restaurant is themed paradise:  tables, chairs, wall decorations and the birds of paradise sitting with a customer while they eat. The walls convey the colors of sunsets, and sunrises all around the restaurant. The chairs are molded to fit the tiki-hut style and the macaws just give that sense of paradise being the Hawaiian Bird of Paradise.  Islands gives vibes of comfort with its paradise atmosphere, and with this feeling, Islands makes sure it customers feel right in paradise.

The fun and energetic staff and the paradise-like atmosphere are just the beginning of a great restaurant chain like Islands, but hold on for the piéce de résistance, Islands fine burgers and drinks. The main meal at Islands is obviously the burger and fry, but they also have a slew of different meals in the categories of: appetizers, soups and salads, and desserts such as “nachos, endless chips and salsa, tiki tenders, onion rings, tortilla soup, china coast salad, wiqui waqui bbq chicken salad, kona pie, cool breeze and the all-famous chocolate lava” (Islands menu)! After witnessing the excellent staff and the lovely theme, one can now fathom the appetizers. There is the chips and salsa option for those huge families looking for a filling appetizer. One may think “Chips and salsa, that’s nothing!” But after someone finishes a plate, then another one is brought out, and another and… ENDLESS! Then after consuming enough appetizers for a meal itself, then the main course is brought out.  Islands burgers are cooked to perfection. This alone shows that the quality of the burgers and the food in general is nothing short of perfection. I myself prefer the Big Wave, and the side of endless chips! Then , of course, the waiter subsequently asks if consumers can be tempted by desserts. No one is able to say no to the Chocolate lava, with its enormous brownie and ice cream platter that melts in your mouth, and the chocolate fudge coats your throat for a lifetime.

  Islands is nothing short of a fast-food chain. This restaurant is perfect quality to be considered an upscale restaurant. With the excellent customer service, you can feel that they know everyone by name, the paradise-themed environment can make one feel right at home; on vacation, and with the excellent food that Islands has to offer, anyone will be able to say that Islands has “Fine burgers and drinks”.
